Hello! My name is Mrs. Sarah Moore, and this is my 13th year of teaching and my 7th year of teaching at Reagan. I feel very fortunate to be the staff adviser of the Husky Howler. It is my absolute pleasure to spend every Tuesday afternoon with the newspaper staff as they strive to create an online publication that is honest, relevant, and diverse, and I'm continuously impressed by their ability to balance their rigorous academic lives here at Reagan and the demands of this extracurricular. If you think you're interested in joining our team, please stop by our newsroom, Rm. 203, and pick up an application!

Hello I'm Valerie Mecha! I'm extremely involved with school and extracurricular activities. My favorite subject is art  because of Reagan's art program. It encourages me to incorporate different styles of media into my art. When I have free time, which isn't very often, I enjoy making the perfect body imprint in the cushions of my couch. Netflix is my stress reliever. My favorite shows are Supernatural, Dr, Who, and a variety of reality TV shows such as Storage Wars. This year on the newspaper I am looking forward to working with the new members and publishing even more pieces!

Alexxus Hart

Alexxus Hart, is a full IB junior. This is her second year on the Husky Howler; but, her first year as webmaster and part of the editorial board. In her spare time she enjoys watching Netflix, preferably tv series, listening to Alternative music, sleeping, hanging out with friends and taking pictures, you can follow her photography page on instagram @ph0t0graphy.hart. So basically she just enjoys the typical teenage stuff. She hopes that you enjoy reading The Husky Howler, just as much as she enjoyed putting everything together.

Corinne Kronschnabel is a full IB junior and co-editor in chief of the Husky Howler, and this is her second year on the team. In her spare time Corinne loves to create stories, browse Tumblr, eat food, and rant about post-modern topics such as time and existence through her writing. She has a love-hate relationship with poetry, and she strives to become a published author someday. Sociocultural anthropology is what currently she’s interested in studying in college. Corinne is a strong advocator for lgbtqia+ rights and enjoys discussing controversial topics and correcting people’s grammar in their writing.

My name is Morgan Stark. I am a sophomore here at Reagan and this is my second year of being on the Howler. I'm excited for this new year to expand my writing and photography abilities aside this year’s amazing Husky Howler staff. I’m an avid moviegoer who listens to The Beatles and love all things Harry Potter. Usually you can find me with my dog, Dixie or discovering something new on Netflix.

Hi, my name is Emma Duffy, I'm a senior, and I've been with the newspaper for three years now. I was originally drawn to newspaper to do illustrations and artwork, but I've since branched out into articles. I love chocolate, tea, books, and bears ( but not beets or Battlestar Galactica). Hoping you enjoy this paper as much as we enjoy working on it!

My name is Cheyenne and I have been a member of the Husky Howler Newspaper for two years now. I joined in the beginning of junior year because I always enjoyed writing, and creating content but I didn't know where to start. I also enjoy taking pictures of sunrises, sunsets, and of other aesthetically pleasing things that I may run into. My favorite TV series is Glee, and I am an avid lover of all things Taylor Swift, Kelsea Ballerini, and cats!

Jackie Jones

Picture
My name is Jackie and this is now my second year being on the Husky Howler. I joined the Husky Howler my sophomore year because I love to write wanted to share that with others. I love animals and books. I don’t like when people debate over is the Marvel Universe is better than the DC Universe because I myself could never choose a side. I can’t wait to see all that happens this year.

Picture
My name is Alexis Torres and I am a sophomore now at Reagan. I have been apart of the Husky Howler Team for 1 year, now making it 2. I mainly do Dear Nancy’s, Photography, and Special Features.

I joined the Newspaper because I felt that it would help me expand my horizons when it comes to writing, reporting, and photography.

A little more about me would be that:

  1. I love Pretty Little Liars, Baby Daddy, Young and Hungry, Law and Order: SVU, and many more TV shows.
  2. I am the oldest of all my siblings.
  3. I love a good mystery, no matter the form

Shalen Michael Tully

Picture
Hello, my name is Shalen Tully, and this is my second year on the Husky Howler. Most of my pieces are in the Special Features and Art section, with last year mainly being storytelling through typing and illustrations. If it isn’t obvious, I’m a creative person with a lot of ideas. However this year I will be trying to open my horizons, both in the things that I have some knowledge about, and some that I don’t know about at all. I’m excited for this year and the work that I’ll be producing, and I hope that you’ll enjoy it.

Thanks for reading my Bio!

Maysa loves to pay close attention to every little detail. She’s a little bit of a perfectionist and tries to be organized. She is willing to learn from her mistakes and get her work done on time. She hope the Husky Howler experience will help her reach her goal of becoming an author.

Mya Bailey is a freshman at Ronald Reagan High School, and this is her very first year as a member on the Husky Howler. She is in love with a variety of tv shows like Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, and The Office; They influence her passion towards writing and drawing. When Mya isn’t freaking out about some dribble she’s obsessed with, she likes to blog on her Instagram, scroll from meme to meme, read interesting conspiracy theories, listen to alternative defined music, and just goof off with the people she loves. She hopes her creativity, humor, and yearning towards doodling/ writing will be a great impact to the team’s further pieces.

question, comment, concern, or idea for a story that Reaganites need to read?
