Club Advisor
Nic Onorato
onoratnc@milwaukee.k12.wi.us Mr. Onorato is the staff adviser for the Husky Howler. He has been a staff member at Reagan for 10 years and is also the adviser for clubs Radio Reagan and Stage Crew. Before becoming a teacher, Mr. Onorato worked for a local television station in production. He also likes to participate in local theater productions, and, in his spare time, is responsible for making parody songs about Chicken Patties. |

Sefarina Benavides
Sefarina Benavides is an Editor and Chief for the Husky Howler. She has been part of the howler for every year of highschool. She joined because of the relationships she knew she would grow whilst on the Howler. Benavides enjoys spending her past time coming up with ideas on how to dress up for the Renaissance Faire, creating new holiday projects, and planning vacations with her friends. Some of her hobbies include: painting, creating videos, and singing. Benavides is looking forward to seeing her friend this year, in light of COVID-19. She wishes everyone a healthy year. Elysium Morss
Elysium Morss is a Full IB Diploma Senior. She is on the Editorial Board for her last year as a Howler. When she’s not stressing over IB school work, her mental health, or whether to pull an all nighter, she enjoys watching anime and drinking coffee and tea. She also enjoys writing letters for friends and cuddling with her dog and cat. She mostly creates infographics and writes anime reviews for the Howler but hopes to broaden her pieces for her last year. |
Rebeca Acosta
Rebeca Acosta is a Full IB Diploma Junior. She is on the Editorial Board and is a reporter, photographer, and artist for the Husky Howler. Her favorite writing pieces are about politics and she admires listening to one’s perspective through interviews. When Rebeca is not writing for the Husky Howler, she is an activist working across the city mobilizing voters, organizing protests, and artistically advocating. Rebeca hopes to give a voice to the voiceless, share people's stories, and humanize our world through her pieces. Gabriella Hartlaub
Gabriella Hartlaub is Full Diploma Junior and a member of the editorial board. Along with being a part of the howler she is also a member of the forensics team and student council. She enjoys reading, but especially buying books to put on her bookshelf that she’ll “get to eventually.” For the howler, she writes all kind of pieces about school events, movie reviews, and current world events. Outside of her writing for the howler, Gabriella also likes creative writing. When she’s not working on anything you can find her binging Greys Anatomy on Netflix. |

Maria Patterson
Maria Patterson goes by the pronouns she/her/hers. She is a 9th grader and participates in MYP classes. Maria is new to the Husky Howler and looks forward to writing articles on various topics such as cooking/baking, interviewing fellow classmates, and exploring the ins-and-outs of Generation Z. Maria loves to walk her dog and her other interests are painting, musicals, sitcoms, and listening to her favorite albums. Maria is very invested in her education and loves to communicate with others.

Zoe Smith
Zoe Smith is an MYP Freshman. This her first year as a podcaster and journalist on the Howler. When she’s not stressing over homework, she’s knee-deep in her podcast Gen Z: The Podcast; which you can find on Spotify, or getting involved in community and school theatre, she enjoys jamming out to broadway cast albums and creating assorted art projects. She also enjoys indie rock music and baking for her family (mostly herself). She mostly creates podcast episodes but is trying to get her ground on the journalism field. |
Jesse Guardiola
Jesse is an MYP freshman at RRHS. He joined the Husky Howler because he needs things to do even though he can’t keep up on his homework. He also likes writing, so there’s that too. In his freetime, Jesse likes to play guitar, or any of the other instruments that he has, and when he’s not running from his problems he’s running around his block. He’s hoping to one day become an internet sensation. His favorite musician/band this week is Boy Pablo. It changes quite frequently. |
